American English Online

American English Online is a "website for professionals abroad teaching English as a foreign language" from the Office of English Language Programs managed by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, U.S. Department of State. This website provides material resources for English teachers and learners worldwide. There are three main sections with selected resources: Teach - you can find lessons plans, essential bibliography, teacher training materials, classroom activities (holidays, songs, and links to Voice of America), and a bunch of Content-based Instruction materials. Learn - that's the place for games and grammar, multimedia learning, reference material and specific content to Young Learners, and a collection of resources for English for Specific Purposes (ESP). Culture - here you'll see articles on American life, English Teahing Forum (a quarterly journal with article exploring American culture), Civil Society, U.S. History, Art, and Music. Leap at the chance to develop your teaching skills. Link
